The City of Coachella is looking for an experienced City Manager who shares its vision. The City Manager serves as chief executive officer of the City and directs and supervises all operations of the municipal organization. The City Manager directs the activities of City departments and personnel to implement the policies and programs of the City Council; advises Council of the financial condition and needs of the City; and provides organization and method analysis on a day-to-day basis to meet changing needs and to provide economy of operation.
Qualifications and Experience would include: A Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration; possession of a Master’s degree is highly desired. A minimum of (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a full-service local government, with special emphasis on financial management, redevelopment and economic/community development.
